ACTIA CAMERAS IN SERVICE
To limit the number of malicious acts in public transport vehicles, more and more operators, at the request of staff, but also travellers, install on-board video surveillance devices. One or two well-positioned cameras (front door and central corridor) can be enough to secure a bus.
Depending on the features selected, the on-board video surveillance systems can be interconnected with the radio transmission, allowing the regulator to hear what is happening in the vehicle, and even to transmit the sound to the police.
VIDEO RECORDING, TRANSMISSION AND STORAGE
ACTIA offers advanced solutions that allow images to be transmitted via Wi-Fi to the outside of the vehicle. The image display module enables, in compliance with legislation, viewing the stored videos. Video recording can be either continuous or at the request of the driver. The data are saved in the bus for a variable average duration (from a few hours to a few days). Video tapes are viewed by sworn officials only in the event of an incident, otherwise they are reused.
